I agree. Too many Christians these days are compromising their faith by mixing evolution with God. The Word of God says He created all things by speaking them into existence. By saying God used evolution over a period of millions of years is,in essence, calling God a liar.
Many people will say that a thousand years is as one day to God,and of course that is true, but that is just to say that time has no meaning to God,because He created time. The Bible says,GOD SAYS, He created the universe and all living things in 6 literal days, and I happen to take Him at His Word. After all, HE IS GOD.Nothing is impossible for Him,and to say evolution is the process He used to create us is telling God you don't believe what He wrote in Genesis, and that you don't believe He has the power to do just what He said He did.
Psalm 148:5 says "Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He commanded and they were created."
All God had to do was speak it,and it happened, not over a perod of millions of years, but in days.
Christians, you must ask yourselves this one simple question - Do you believe God is Omnipotent? If you believe He is, then you will believe without question that His Creation was not by evolution, but by His spoken commandment, just as He said.

Absolutely! I disagree with all the scriptural cherry-picking so many Christians are into these days. I say accept it all or chuck the whole thing! There is no reason whatsoever for accepting a single piece of so-called science that contradicts anything in the Good Book. Yep, stick to your guns!
It will also result in great savings to you. You can stop sending your children to schools & universities that teach those heresies. Why would a good Christian person need to know any more about biology, or archeology, or even physics than the Bible teaches?
Actually, this last part is most important to some of us. We would love it if you could see it in your Christian hearts to start your own schools and keep out of our curriculum. Yes, I know we're a bunch of evil apostates, but we have a couple of medical cures to discover, a law or two of physics to work out, and such.
In the meantime, you go, God-guys! I'm sure there are enough ministries to provide jobs for the kids.

Your comments do not include the fact that anatomically modern humans have been on the planet for 130,000 years. Consider this: Six-thousand years ago a powerful being started his own personal creation project called the 'Garden of Eden'. When it failed (Cain slaying Abel), Cain left but encountered other humans. Who were they? Perhaps they were the ones who had been around already - for 124,000 years. Clearly, the bible reflects the lives of Adam and Eve, the primal parents of the Jewish people, so perhaps it is the Jewish race who is only 6,000 years old.

Most Christians do believe that, but then they tie up their thoughts in saying that man has evoloved since Adam and Eve. And to a point that is true, we now have modern technology and other modern things they didn't have. So actually God did create us in His image, but we have evolved also.

If your god got it right the first time, why do we have sin, evil, non-believers and had to send his son to correct all this?

The problem with your version is that it's obviously false. Those other Christians are showing that they are concerned with being honest.
