I've always heard that boys are hard when they are younger and easier as they get older. And girls are easier when they are younger and harder when they get older. I guess this may be true. I have a 6 year old son and he is full of energy! I've also babysat my 2 neices when they were young. From my experiences, I would say boys.

Neither Is Hard To Raise Mate, I Have One Of Each A Girl Of 11 And A Boy Of 6 And I Guess We All Know They Go Through Phases Like Not Sleeping, The Terrible Two's And So On But That Isn't Hard, Or At Least It's Only Hard If You Don't Support Each Other Through The Ups And Downs Along The Way.
Good Luck To You All Mate And Have A Beaut Christmas!

Yes.

Seriously, I have heard that boys are harder up until the age of ten and girls are harder after the age of ten. I have a 13 year old boy and an 11 year old girl. Ask me again in a few years, but I will say that my son is showing increased signs of maturity the past few months and my daughter is getting crazier than ever, so maybe there is something to this adage.

I'm going to say boys are harder. I was an angel compared to my brother. Now we both have our own kids and he has a boy and I have a girl they are a year apart almost to the day and his son is wild and always has been and my daughter is a very laid back child so far. But it does just depend on the children and their parents as well:) Congrats on baby #3!

I have a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old girl and both children are very different to raise. My boy has ADHD and mild PDD (in the autism spectrum). They both have their issues and own personalities so it is always an adventure. I used to think my son was difficult and then my daughter arrived. After having a boy for 4 years before the girl I thought I knew it all! Boy was I wrong. I heard girls are easier to potty train. Not mine! I thought girls were move easy going. Not mine! She is very much a drama queen! ha! I've always heard that you worry more about the boy when he is younger then when he is older and you worry more about the girl when she is older then when she is younger , so I guess it all evens out in the end! Good luck and congratulations!

I taught middle school English for a long time and have seen a lot of parent-children relationship. It depends on the child and the parent. Everyone is unique.

I have a boy (11) and a girl (9). There are some things that are really easy with each of them and there are some points where we're more challenged. It's important to love them for who they are and not for not being what we imagine what they should be.

Well, that's a toughy. I would say the girl. She goes through a lot more with a lot more expectations...be pretty, be popular, be skinny, be sweet, be a babysitter, be a cook, be a housekeeper...her body also goes through a lot more change, and hormones (yikes). My son, however, is going through a difficult time now because he's not really good at sports, and at school, that leaves him out of the "in" crowd. I guess all kids go through some pretty tough times. Poor things. Well, I will say that potty training our daughter was a heck of a lot easier. Oh well, so much to think about for each one. It's the hardest most rewarding thing I've ever been through (so far). Congratulations and enjoy them both, but differently!

I have 2 daughters ages 13 and 4 a son who just turned 2 and a boy on the way I have really no clue yet but I can say I think girls have bad attitudes and mouths to go with it my son so far is very very sweet he loves to hug and kiss me all the time but he is also mischeivious and gross example my cat brought in a dead bird I had no idea went to the bathroom came back out it couldn't have been more than a minute the boy had blood and feathers from head to toe I threw up twice and we have to lock our refridgerator because he likes to dump food all over the floor he does things my girls never did in those ways hopefully that helps you out a little by the way I check the house daily for anything my cat might bring in

Girls. They have sassy mouths and whine a lot.

I have 2 boys and a girl. You don't know my boys are there, but my girl...ooooh! I worked in a children's home for a few years, and I was a permanent part of the "boy's side" staff. I worked with the girls maybe 2-3 times and they couldn't pay me enough to work over there all the time!

Girls are catty and stubborn. Boys are usually more laid back.

All in all I think it depends on the child. Sometimes girls are the trouble makers, sometimes boys. But mentally its probably harder to raise a girl, as they go through so much more emotional things.
