I guess you haven't found it necessary to compare the size of a cat's genitals to those of a dog's lately.

Besides the fact that a dog has 39 pair of chromosomes and a cat only has has 19 pair. It is only when the number of chromosomes are the same that a successful mating is possible (like a donkey and a horse which will produce a mule)

If it was possible for a cat to breed successfully with a dog, it would also be possible for a fruit fly to successfully breed with a human.
(a fruit fly has 8 pair of chromosomes and a human has 29)

go to that link, it shows that the dogs were NOT born to the cat. The cat just nursed them- which is not uncommon.


Though there is a cat that has been bred to act like a dog. Look up Puppycat.
