I made homemade baby food applesauce last night, left it out on the counter to cool and forgot about it until this morning (about 8 hours). I used apples, water and a dash of cinnamon. Is it still safe to feed to my baby?

Knowing how to make applesauce myself, I know there is nothing wrong with the applesauce you made. In fact, if it is placed in sealed jars, you can keep it out of a fridge for weeks as long as it is not placed in a warm area.(Ours is kept in the basement) Just be sure that the applesauce is not warmed up, for that will spoil the applesauce.

two days depend on the climate or temperature
in the tropics it could get mould with in hours
if it is winter ,and it stayed over a cold night .getting cooled off ,it should be OK if you put it in the fridge in the morning

It can only be left for one day without being refrigerated. If you leave it any longer you could get food poisoning.
