can i use highlights?

i just colored my hair brown but i want some highlights can you highlight over color?

Sure. They even have kits that do both. You colour you hair first, then apply the bleaching cream to do the highlights.

Sure I do that all the time I color my brown then add blonde highlights just make sure that you use a good conditioner. There usually is one that comes with the highlights I recommend Revlon if you are going to do them yourself but it is easier if you have two people for an at home job. Good luck!!

Yes, absolutely, but I would definitely get it professionally done by a reputable beautician. I love highlights, especially with brown hair. I love the different colored highlights. Gold, reddish and blonde tones. So often when you have different colors of highlights, it just looks so much more natural! But you must get a beautician who knows what he/she is doing!

I have before. I use the herbal essences highlighting kit. It seems to be very gentle on hair. Just watch your time on how light you want the streaks!
