All fruit will keep for months in a freezer, but chances are frozen bananas will go brown still. They're pretty sensitive to the cold, but they'll keep just fine, permitted you don't mind the discolouration when you eventually decide to eat them.

They don't freeze well. Bananas are good eaten when they're still in good shape, not mushy. When they do get mushy, I use them for banana bread or cakes. I've bought frozen fruits with bananas in them to use for smoothies, though. As long as you're not planning to eat them as is.

bananas like most other fruits will get mushy if you freeze them but they will keep frozen and be great with baking recipes later.

If you want to freeze bannanas for future cooking rather than eating raw they should be fine but to freeze and then eat like you would a regular bannana I am afraid they will be mush once they thaw.Try a couple and experiment.

alot of fruits just don't freeze well, bananas being one of them because once you defrost them, they become mushy and brown and just look very unappealing.

Try banana bread/muffins or try to find more ideas for them at www.bettycrocker.com
