Sure shes a great talent..hits the ball a mile..but shouldn't she be developing her game and learning to win playing against the ladies on the LPGA tour or should she really be wasting her time trying to play with the "big boys" on the PGA tour. She hasn't been close to making a cut on the PGA tour but she's had great showings on the ladies tour....isnt that where she should be focusing her time and energies?...I feel that her management team is leading her in the wrong direction. She'll never be a force on the PGA tour but could certainly dominate the LPGA. What are you thoughts?

Hello capt

My thoughts are about the same as yours to and including her management team with one exception.

We all are presumming that she even wants to be a force on the LPGA as far as wins go and that may not be her desire after all.

There is nothing wrong with making more money then the winners even if your not making the cut, albiet the LPGA or the PGA.
Who cares, its probably all about the money to her and I would say for a 16 year old shes doing pretty darn good.
Now in the long run she had better start winning or the sponcers will pull out because its all about the money for them also, but if she plays her cards right she could make more money then any woman ever made and never win a tournement.
I dont think people play to see her win , allthough that would be a bonus, they simply pay to see her play and thats what golf is all about.

I think she is right on track with her plans, they just dont meet the expectations of the fans.

She still too young and LPGA let her play as a pro only for a certain number of tournament in a year, I think something like 20 plus. The rest of the time that she can schedule it in, she plays PGA. Got money both way why not.
The real question to ask is what you gonna do if you are just 16 and got 100 million dollars. I wonder whether she could buy Porche and drive yet!!

Greeting's fellow Canuck.

I would hope for Michelle's sake that she would start winning and dominating the lpga, as Annika has done for so long with the tenacity of a wolverine.

She has talent we all know this, but show us on the winners board.

And far as her playing on the PGA forget it,,,,,, what do they have to do call it the MPGA?

Hate to sound like i crawled out from under a rock, having not seen the light day since 1952, but does anyone remeber this?

G- gentlemen
O- only
L- ladies
F- forbidden

By no means am I condoning this attitude, that is like saying golf is only a game for the rich and privledged.
And that would be a day without sunshine.

Competing with the men was just for show....appearance money and keeping her sponsors happy. She's done well on the LPGA but she hasn't won and I would even question whether she will ever be dominant against the ladies because she's not a great putter.

I think she's a great kid with tremendous talent. I wish she would hone her skills on the LPGA instead of all these men's events she keeps entering. But you know promoters are tossing millions of bucks at her and it must be tough to turn down.

She hasn't won anything on the LPGA but she's played well. Stick to the LPGA, Michelle.

Maybe we should ask her what she wants. My feelings are that that she should establish herself on the ladies tour first, get some wins and some experience under her belt, then play the occassional PGA event. But I don tthink her publicity machine will give her that luxury. She is a huge crowd puller, which means more money for sponsors, so at the very least she will continue to get sponsors exemptions. Maybe when she gets a little older she will stand up to them and tell them how she wants to play it!

She needs to spend this time of her life tuning up her skills and working on winning on the ladies tour. I think it is a shame that she plays in PGA events and as a result someone who is a hard working PGA player doesn't get to play b/c she takes his spot.

Go play with the ladies, eat your snickers bar and stay off the men's links.
