As you can tell from the previous answers given, it could be any of a number of things, including a precancerous spot. The only person who can determine what it is is your doctor--possibly with a referral to a dermatologist.
A few years ago I had what I thought was ringworm all over my body (gross!), it looked EXACTLY like the pictures of it online. Even my doctor and another doctor in her office thought it was ringworm, but when a dermatologist did a skin cell scraping he didn't find any fungus at all (ringworm is a fungus, not a worm). He decided it was some kind of psoriasis, which explained why it didn't respond to the anti-fungal cures.
Any time something weird like that shows up on your body you should have it looked at by a professional, you don't want to play games with your health.

It sounds like it could be a spider bite. Try looking up spider bites on WebMD and be especially mindful of the brown recluse. Try to compare photographs of these to your spot. If it is similar, you should get to a doctor right away.

Sounds like ringworm. You need to get some (jock itch) antifungal cream.

it can be just about anything go to a doctor and have it checked out

my dad had that..if it gets bigger w/i a week or so,deffantly got the doc..cuase he had lime deasise..but getting the meds made it go away
