You have to continue to drink plenty of liquids to keep yourself from becoming dehydrated, maintain electrolyte balance, and to flush out the nasty irritant from your bowels. Discontinue using the Pepto and try Imodium caplets or the liquid form (over-the-counter at the drug store). It works better for me and is recommended by more doctors. Imodium works by causing the bowel to tighten up, and by doing so, it prevents things from moving along. Furthermore fluids that contain salt and small amounts of sugar (such as Gatorade) are particularly beneficial, as they help the body replace glucose and minerals lost during diarrhea. Warm de-caffeinated tea with a spot of honey stirred in would be good. Avoid eating milk products such as ice cream, and poorly absorbed carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, and other wheat products; apples, pears, peaches, corn, oats, potatoes, and processed bran. Start with clear liquids such as chicken broth, Jell-O, and other foods and fluids that you can look 'clear' through. These help the irritated bowels kinda settle down. Then try rice, bananas, applesauce, or yogurt as your symptoms improve.

Ick I had something like that a few weeks back but I think I got it from taco bell, that ecolie crap...literally lol. But If your not able to keep any thing down you should try crackers, like saltines. Bread products will absorb...try that :) hope you feel better

Try eating oatmeal and stay away from dairy products. Oatmeal actually hardens your bowel movements.
