Yes, you are underwieght medically. Is this natural or through dieting?? either way, see your gp or it could affect your fertility and future bone density health.

You are a little on the thin side. You could have a small frame, which would be more appropriate for your weight. For instance, a woman with a large frame (usually checked by wrist size, check http://www.am-i-fat.com for help! it matters!) can weigh 130lbs and look good/fit, and a woman with a small frame who weighed 130lbs would look chubby.

the reason for this is that our bones all differ - some of us have high bone density, some of us don't. For some of us, our bones just weight a lot. (big-boned, heh, which really doesn't mean your fat!)

See how you fit in according to those statistics and averages.

If you find you eat fine, (atleast 1400 calories a day, at the least) and you're just naturally thin, I would go to an endocrinologist. You could have a HYPERactive thyroid, meaning your metabolism works TOO fast (your thyroid, in your throat, is a gland that monitors your metabolism).

This is dangerous - you might feel jittery, tense, be warmer than most people, etc. You should get this checked out as it could interfer with other organs! You might also find that you can't sleep or have too much energy!

Goodluck!

moodfairy and the rest of these posters are idiots, People like this usually are over weight or misconceived with info. They are the reason kids today are so overweight. Please don't listen to them you don't have a eating disorder. If you are throwing up your food its one thing. But if you are eating atleast 3 meals a day you are fine.
Everyone has a different metabolism at that age.
look at your mom and dad ask them if they were thin at that age. Look at pictures of them back then and look at them now. I was 5'9 and weighed only 110 lbs back when i was 16 now I'm 30 5'11 and weigh 210 lbs.
Its all your metabolism. If you are being told things in school or are ashamed or your weight don't be you will be fine. Be happy with yourself and just know you are you and that you will be fine. Atleast your not obese like 90% of the kids today.
Happy holidays.
PS if you want to learn on proper diets and how to get bigger the right way there is a body building site at www.bodybuilding.com they have great articles and so forth. Dont buy expensive suppliments though as alot of them are promises that are not proven. Try talking with your doctor if you still are concerned though. But first go to your parents you will see that its just genitics and you will be fine.

You probably are a bit on the skinny side but if you are eating regular meals (at least three a day), are choosing food from all the major food groups, and are eating them in good portion sizes, then you should be fine. (Most nutritionists say you can use your palm size as a rough guide for 1 serving. So a palm sized chicken fillet = 1 serving of protein etc.)

Its probably your metabilism. Younger people usually have a very high metabilism. If it is, enjoy it while you can. Because once you hit your twenties, it'll come right down and you'll find yourself having to fight (or run) for every calorie you eat!

No, it makes you anorexic and in danger of dying from starvation and malnutrition. Your parents are doing you a serious disservice by not having you committed to a mental institution so that you can face your body in a positive way. You are killing yourself slowly. You are causing irreversible damage to major organs in your body, and the day will come when you will die from the affects of what you have done to yourself.

Ultra thin or cachectic as it is known in medical terms is hideous to look at. Not attractive, just plain ugly. So if that is the look you are going for you've made it.

You are at an unhealthy weight. You need to gain weight. I'd say that you should weigh about 125 lbs. at the least.

Look at what's her name that just got picked up for DUI. She is older than you and only weighs 88. You are young yet you are fine. Don't stress yourself out worrying about it.
