You asked how long frozen food would stay frozen in your FRIDGE.Do you mean the frozen food compartment of your fridge? If you actually meant fridge instead of freezer or freezer compartment it won't stay frozen.Depending on what the item is it will start defrosting once it is removed from the freezer. If it is only going to be for a short time you can help it stay for longer by packing frozen product tightly and insulating it with lots of newspaper.Anything small won't last long at all in it's frozen state and anything which has started to thaw will need to be thoroughly thawed before cooking and eating. If you are talking about your entire freezer stock you may need to turn it all into cooked meals which can then be frozen and thoroughly heated before eating. They cannot be re-frozen.Good luck!

The answer is anywhere from 24-72 hours depending on the food item and the size of the freezer. Keeping jugs of frozen water is a great idea that was suggested above. Just to let you know though your unlikely to have anything stay frozen more than 48 hours at best.

I keep two gallons of water in my freezer. When the power goes out, I put one down in the refrigerator and leave one in the freezer. This turns my system into an icebox and works fine for almost a full day.

Depending on the size of the food, generally between an hour to 48 hours. Don't ever refreeze things though.

If you don't open the door it should give you a good 48 to 72 hours at least.
