Ah yes, that loving, sympathetic Christian attitude that condemns the despairing and mentally ill by wishing them to continue suffering further in eternal torment.
Do you think people commit suicide just to spite God? Have you not one ounce of compassion for anyone for whom life has become so painful that they see no other option but to end it? I hope you never face a depressive illness. Filled with such spite, I don't fancy your chances.

Are you serious? Who are you to judge, let he without sin cast the first stone.
I would say if there was a heaven they would not want to go to it anyway because it would only make them more depressed all that carol singing and the like, what makes you so sure that the buddhists haven't got it right no heaven just rebirth and rebirth forever

If God would sentence someone to hell just for commiting suicide I'd say He was a vile cruel pig unworthy of anyone's veneration.
I dont believe in God anyway but good question. Catholics say no and they're liberal on a lot of issues.

I was taught by my mother that if I killed myself I would go to Hell, so I have always remembered that. Also we cannot ask for forgiveness if we were to commit suicide - so that leads me to believe we might. But as a real Christian now - I tend to believe we will go to Heaven. Once we are saved (have the Holy Spirit) - we are sealed and that cannot be taken away. And I have a hard time believing a real Christian would do such a thing - if he is a real Christian - because I believe real Christians want to please God - not themselves. Blessings. Good post.

you'll stay always, besides. The question is, do you want to stay in eternal punishment or eternal paradise? "If all people's call replaced into no longer got here upon written contained in the e book of existence, he replaced into thrown into the lake of hearth." Revelation 20:15 "Then they'll go away to eternal punishment, even with the undeniable fact that the righteous to eternal existence." Matthew 25:40 six "and that i heard a noisy voice from the throne preserving, 'Now the residing of God is with adult males, and he will stay with them. they're going to be his human beings, and God himself will be with them and be their God. he will wipe each and every tear from their eyes. there'll be no extra lack of existence or mourning or crying or soreness, for the old order of issues has handed on to the great beyond." I don't believe in heaven or hell but I think that those who commit suicide, poor sods, have more chance of finding a heaven than anyone else.
Oooh controversial!

Definetely not! Because they had bad parents, or whoever took care of them in childhood, who treated them like crap, made them feel worthless and took the meaning of life out of them, they are condemned to an eternity of pain in the flames of hell.
PS: I'm being ironic ;\

depends on the way they lived, not how they died
it is never mentioned in the Bible, so we can only assume that they are judged the same as anyone who dies of other causes natural or unnatural.
i love these folks who give answers on Christian teaching who have never actually read Christian teaching

Everyone has come from the cosmic consciousness and that is where they will return to having attained enlightenment-there are no exceptions and the heavens and hells we invent are mere delusions. The only real heaven is spiritual awakening.
