it is because your friend has loved you, loved you for a long time and has not told you
and when you did this, he felt sad and hurt and now he wants you even more
he wants to do stuff to you
hold your hand, hug you, kiss you, comb your hair, buy you stuff, rub your back and everywhere else too
he loves you
go kiss him now

The same thing happened to me! He is jealous of you because he thinks that since he is your friend, he has a better chance with you. Just talk to him. Tell him you still care about him. He may understand.

First you have to talk to friend face to face to see what's up with
him then settle things in a calm way to make sure every things peachy then work your way from there

Honestly, if your friend doesnt have the testies to ask you out himself, than its his fault he misses out on you.

But, friends are really really really important.

The best you can do is ask him why it bothers him, and what you can do so that both of you are happy.

Thats all.

He probably had deeper feelings for you than just friendship, and maybe its a competition thing with his brother. Looks like you really hurt your friendship, you shold have talked to him about it first.

I think your friends likes you as well, and was scared to approach you in fear of losing the friendship he has with you. I would talk with him, and assure him that you will always stay good friends.

Sounds like he is jealous. Ask him out right, maybe he didn't have the courage to ask you before.

There is usually an underlying crush on at least one side when your bff is the opposite sex.

Sorry honey, you're confusing us. You said "her brother" - is "she" actually a "he"? If that's the case then he's jealous and wants you for himself.
