I don't know if it is because of our friendship or because he thinks I am in love wqith another guy..but I told him I was also confused by him and went a little crazy but he always came back..in a wierd way he came back likejust read my messages nut not answer..I tell him I want to give him a X-mas present etc...and that I hope someday we can go out somewhere together...but maybe he is not sure what kind of relationship I have with the guy I love...but he never is angry at me. We are friends but not close before he would wait for me on IM so I don't know what he wants to be my friend or GF?

maybe his keeping himself away because your hurting him and his trying to give you some space to know who you really want....

Don't be in a hurry. Maintain your friendship with him. Maybe he is just shy to tell you of his real feelings,because he thinks you like another guy. when having a conversation with him, stress that you are not in love or committed with anyone.
