We went via Paris to get there, so around 45 mins from UK to Paris, then 12 - 13 hours direct flight to Mauritius.

Try to fly with Air Mauritius rather than Air France though - much better service.

Hope you have a great vacation - we did even though the weather was pretty crap, surprisingly.
