In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

What are you trying to ask-*get drained* *hurting feeling*? (That makes no sense to me at all). If someone says a dirty word, it's their own doing. Don't blame some unseen entity. We should be responsible for whatever actions we do, and whatever comes out of our mouth. Obviously, if you see someone doing something that is wrong (like someone beating on someone else, shoplifting), you should stop them because its the right thing to do, not because their *possesed* by the devil.

devil, being a non secular entity, does no longer have relations... i'm no longer particular he has associates, yet what i comprehend is that he replaced into created by God, as were the different angels... He led a rebel in heaven and grew to change into a million/3 of the angels adversarial to God yet replaced into defeated and replaced into banished to hell... for sure the theology appropriate to devil relies upon on what non secular doctrine you're relating, yet i go by Catholic doctrine. wish this helps!

if you are in earnest...
Jesus said to Peter "get away from me Satan" and they were best buddies. so yes, we should rebuke them. I would want to know if I was tempting my loved one to sin. Would you rather be like Job's wife? the only one in Job's life Satan didn't kill, cause she was more useful standing there saying "curse God and die" ?

now...listen to yourself... there is no such thing as the devil, and no, you don't have to correct them. most of you have to correct your own ways, understanding that if god exists,(which i doubt), you are not to do his bidding... i find it a bit like donnie darko with the bunny rabbit frank... live life happily, not in fear of something which is not there. remember that is people that are evil and that cause other ppl discomfort, not " the devil".

Yes, but more importantly, is that God can use your enimies to help you. He can take something bad that they do to you and turn it around so that it ends up being good for you. Satin can use both saved and unsaved people but so can God.

Tell you what, you give me one single scrap of credible evidence to support the existence of your version of the god of the underworld (that is what satan is after all) and I might give your question some credibility.
Until that happens, you're just another christian nut-bar to me...

He uses whatever he can, whoever he can and we need to go through trials all the time. Just pray and ask God to help you understand what you should do,
