This is for a Christmas party, we have things planned but need to fill 3 hours 14/12 in Central London, without the obvious Pub, any ideas??

How about St. Pauls Cathedral - bit different, plenty to see and not to costly. Oh yes and it's inside if the weather is its normal self. Seasonal as well, as most people have forgotten about the Christian side of Christmas!

How about one of those temporary Christmas ice rinks for skating?
Or the London Eye? Tate Modern - that's free.

I have a couple of suggestions but since I don't know what else is planned it is hard to make valid or good suggestions.
Bowling
Museum
Roller Skating
Shopping
General sightseeing tour on a double decker bus
Going to large park or flower garden to look at displays
Going to zoo

camden market! Or the Trucadero. The trucadero is much fun, you can go inside bungee jumping. There's arcades, shops, bars, pubs, etc. It's pretty awesome. (and inside in case it rains)
