Depending on how far north you want to go in Ontario. Algonquin is good and all, but can get WAY too busy in the summer (that and you can't even consider that to be northern Ontario).
If you want my opinion, go to Quetico Provincial Park, between Thunder Bay and the Manitoba border. It also straddles the US border too. It is classified as a 'wilderness' park, meaning that you won't find any amenities like plugs, or showers, or really anything other raw, virtually untouched nature. It is absolutely beautiful up there (I spent 3 weeks there in May of 1999). The best way to get around is by canoe - which you can rent up there.

There are some somewhat good roadside relax factors .some no longer so good. visit significant roads delivery branch for a map of all something factors .you are able to stay at them both 24 or 40 8 hours some are lower back from the line some have lavatories or visit NRMA and note in the adventure that they have got a e book on bush camping out in NSW. If no excitement there ask what they have contained in the e book shops. usually there are some human beings staying at them and they are those to ask the position the purely right places are.
