For some reason conservative Christianity never managed to establish itself in Europe as it did in the US so there tends to be a greater openness to ideas that undermine the validity of scripture. And to the individual above-biological evolution doesn't need to explain the origins of life it's about the adaptation of species within their habitat and how they evolve and there are literally thousands of examples of species to species transition. Why do creationists spread total falsehoods as if they really were factual-how stupid is that?

Well Europe is on the verge of being taken over by islam imo. It is inevitable now. That they became a Godless nation, the balance was shifted and their liberal/secular agenda is going to bit them on the *** in many ways. But these are the laws, things move in a certain way when too much of a given thing is negated you gain the blunt of it's paradox. It's the twisting of the octaves. America is in a binding situation, it has already turned against it's first principle and very well is becoming more of a marxist state by the institutionalize ignorance impressed on the children through schooling and people using the Judical system to enforce this agenda even further with great success. What made America great was it's constitutional framework which were more then reasonable and accepted or recognized our natural given rights by birth to live as we what without enfringment upon the rights of others and no law can take this away. So a Christian family who doesn't want there child to learn evolution has that right protected by the constitution, unfortunately people have undermined this law. It was said (this maybe wrong) that 70% of students become atheist or agnostic in college. the fact is we need religion, some do and there has to be a sort of balance and we should blame others for having a belief system like they have.

That many Americans are just that stupid, yes, but don't be too sure that it won't take hold in Europe as well. There are signs that Europe is becoming infested with Christian creationism already, and of course the Islamic immigrants are almost all creationists as well. The governmental systems for protecting education from religion are stronger in much of Europe (though probably weaker in other parts), but creationism is like a cockroach infestation - be on your guard.

No, Europeans aren't any smarter, and Americans aren't stupid (well, maybe that's arguable!!) but it's all a question of FAITH.
It takes lots of faith to accept either view. The same scientific/observational evidence can be used to justify whichever one you hold to be true.
Remember that the Theory of evolution is just that; a theory. Nothing has actually been proven. If it had been, we'd all believe in it and there wouldn't be this ongoing debate.

I think Americans are just more arrogant. I think most Americans like their vision of Jesus wearing an American flag hat and flip flops. Its not that they don't have the ability to understand evolution, just that they really don't want to.
From an evolution believing American.

Why can't evolution explain how life first started? Why are there no complete transitional fossils from one species to another?
"everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble."
Albert Einstein
“The absence of fossil evidence for intermediary states between major transitions in organic design, indeed our inability, even in our imagination, to construct functional intermediated in many cases, has been a persistent and nagging problem for gradualistic accounts of evolution.” S.J. Gould, in Evolution Now: A Century after Darwin, ed. John Maynard Smith, (New York: Macmillan Publishing Co., 1982)
How do you explain the beginning of life?

Unfortunately my country has been run by the american version of the Taliban(as far as I'm concerned anyway). Those bozos "pushing" their religion on tv are just trolling for money like any crook does.

because many Europeans had to stay in Europe and by no skill migrate to u . s . a . of america. the final public of Africans in early situations did not come to the "new international" with techniques from decision. They were given a loose cost tag with techniques from evil slave investors. i ought to assert, "adverse Africans!"

Americans have too many rights, including the right to remain ignorant. Like all rights, some people take it way too far.
