How do I get police help? I live in US so I cannot go to a police station and file police report. Is it even practical to seek police help? Is there any other agency which can help?

If you are the owner of the flat in Bangalore and living in US you can not do any thing to vacate it from there. You can give power of attorney to some one living in Bangalore whom you trust to sell the flat on your behalf. He will take whatever legal steps have to be taken to vacate the flat. Make sure you hire a competent counsel. You have not stated for how long this tenant has occupied your flat. Was there a lease agreement between you? I am an Advocate . You can speak to me on 9849713810

First of all do u made an agreement with the tenant? If yes then whether it has been covered or not.If yes then talk to a lawyer and he will guide you.So first of all you have to be clear from ur side.Give him a notice through the court and this will a good lawyer can guide.Dont worry and also try to act normal with the tenant.

Consult a legal advisor to overcome this situation. He will find out relevant laws to protect the owner. Before taking legal steps, try one more attempt to contact the tenant and hear his grievances. If they are genuine, you have to set right them. Normally, without any reason, tenant will not take such action. You have to compromise with him, irrespective of the loss you are going to incur. If the tenant is wantonly creating such situation, you have to take all the possible measures to vacate the tenant.

get some relatives to talk to him to file report on your behalf, however if he lodges any kind of civil case against you, that means that it will go on for years, ur best bet is to talk and resolve this.
