if my wife and i,who are britsh citizens enter the states over the border from mexico,will we be afforded the chance to stay and wotk in the u.s. as easy as the mexican,s are finding it?

thanks for that guys,thats just what i thought! here's the sucker punch!
my wife and i have visited america 10 times in recent years,never overstayed,broke the law etc.
last year we invested in buying a business in florida that would earn us $10,000 a month approx,employ american citizens,pay taxes and generally contribute to the economy in florida,and yes you guessed it they turned us down!all our dreams and hard work over the last 9 years in trying to emigrate to florida,all dashed by one photocopied a4 piece of paper,with no reasons,feedback and not even a name on it.
you can not imagine how devestated we were.
well is that fair,i dont think so,do you?
we love america and we will never give up,but it is so frustrating and soul destroying that the odds are so stacked up against people trying to do things the right way.

Wow Jon! Thanks for not giving up on America. So many others would have by now, but it's people like yourself that make this country great. Don't give up and keep trying.

Why not? The only problem you would have is speaking English. Our Sheriffs Dept does not have an interpreter so they stop Mexicans with no license, no identification, they just let them go as INS will not come get them unless they have committed a felony. They get free medical at our hospital, free school for their kids, and no taxes. Just learn to say no habla English over and over.

It's amazing how this goverment TIRES to screw it's self. If someone that would pay taxes and never commited a feloney gets the red light not to come to america but yet the mexicans who take advantage dose... Freaking joke...... Yeah come on over the boarder and try it that way.

Let's see...you are educated and speak the language, understand the customs and share an American like set of civilized morals.
While in the vein of criminal invading aliens you would stand out, in general you should blend into civilized American society quite well.

Probably not, after all you speak English. We colonists are a squirrely bunch. In fact I have considered going to Mexico and sneaking back into the U.S. to claim welfare benefits.

Wow that sucks..sorry to hear that. Have to admit a corner of my mind is kinda please that American government is not just screwing it's citizens but still majority of my thought is that sucks.
They really need to fix the immigration procedure

What are you reading,that indicates they are having it easy. Why don't you try it.Maybe you could write a book and tell us ,how easy it was.
