I left the UK because its a pretty scarey place to live anyway.
You have one CCTV for every 11 people in that country and its still not safe. Lots of places where you cant park your car for fear of it being vandalised.
The 'New Ripper' is the tip of the iceburg.

He's not a 'Ripper' that's just a lazy cliché from the tacky tabloids. If he's anything he's a Strangler. If I was in Ipswich now I'd be very careful and if I was a woman I'd be very, very careful. If the prostitutes are no longer around and he still has the lust to kill - any woman, even in her own home could be a target. The police will catch this piece of sub-human filth I don't doubt it - I just hope they do so before another family loses a loved one.

If I lived there I would be petrified, not for myself but my daughters, they are 22, 23 and I would not be able to rest at nights. It is hard enough now and I know they are sensible women. With the Christmas season coming I guess every one is vulnerable

I LIVE A SHORT DISTANCE FROM IPSWICH, AND HAVE A 21 AND 23 DAUGHTERS AT HOME THEY WENT OUT LAST NIGHT, I WAS WORRIED AND THEY RUNG 4 TIMES IN THE COURSE OF AN EVENING, BUT, SURELY YOGA CLASSES COULD OF WAITED FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS, OR AM I JUST BEING OVER PROTECTIVE

uh hattness thats where your wrong! Just like the other posters, I dont live nr Ipswitch but I find the streets in the UK scary anyway - especially at night.
