Most Linux distributions have online forums and irc chat channels that can answer your questions. These can be found at the web page for your particular distribution.

Another excellent online Linux community is LinuxQuestions.org

If you are looking for help with an application a quick search at any search engine will give you the home page of that project where you should be able to find all of the manuals and other documentation that is available.
