While I agree with your first answer we are in fact human beings who have evolved to the point where we are now. Who knows what we will be in the future. Our purpose is to pass on our genes and hope that the human race improves over time. While we are here we might as well try to live a decent life and teach our children respect and responsibility.
Nobody knows whether or not there is a god but my feeling and experience tell me there is not and I am happy to live with that.

Atheism (or agnosticism) means that you are open for any explanation, and you also are open for the idea that there is no purpose at all.
I do not "know" there is no god, but I also do not "know" there is no flying spaghetti monster. I can only follow the most plausible view in daily life, and the most plausible view is there isn't either (sorry, pastafaris ...). More than that, I think that the idea of a god is absurd, and I would expect very good reasons to make me think otherwise.

Well no one knows that there is no God, but I would say may people don't believe they way God is perceived by religious folks and I agree with that, because the religious perception is my god or no god, which that can not be understood by everyone, so god is whatever a person makes it out to be after they learn about their respected god

Your purpose is whatever you want it to be, and that is the best purpose of all. You can't know if there is or isn't a God, unless he shows up immediately - and you won't even know if he's just a look-alike.

Tell me what is the purpose of cat, dog, a tree? Do they worship God for the reason they are present in Earth?

There is no connection between 'why' and god or gods.

I say that I know that there is no god or gods because bad things happen to good people and I can't see how a all-powerful benevolent god could let that happen.

we are the most successful life form to ever have lived on this planet,we should put our over sized cerebral cortex with our amazingly dexterous pentodactyl appendages to work to save it, not to destroy it. As well the notion of there being a God is just a form of controll used by man to controll man.

How would our ignorance of what we are demonstrate the existance of a god? It's like asking, "If you don't know how quantum theory works, then how do you know fairies don't exist?"

Actually, we know a lot about what we are and the mechanism of how we got here.

Our only purpose in life is that which we give it ourselves.

I fail to see the connection. My failure to understand how my mobile phone connects me to another phone does not make me say that mind reading works.

I do not KNOW that there is no god. Simply that, with the available evidence, the probability is vanishingly small.

If our existence is improbable so much so that a supreme being had to create us, then I say that the creation of a supreme being is that much more improbable.
