not everyone is bad.. Christmas is about The Saviour of the human race being born.. the reason I think it is celebrated is because the angels from heaven were here in the sky celebrating when HE was born. the truth is that december 25 is not CHRIST'S true birthday. but many know this and either ignore the human holiday or use it as a reminder. sorry u think that all people act bad.

Of course, the holiday was indeed used to commemorate the birth of Christ to gain Christian converts. Originally, the celebration was used to celebrate Yule and Saturnalia. But in its current form, it's secular more than it is religious.

If we decide it's high time to replace Jesus with Santa, then the celebration will evolve to be whatever we want it to be. That is the spirit of Christmas.

Verily, the people who rejoice in the day of the feast and enjoyed the tree [1] (which) was decorated, following the custom of ancient times, are the people of superstitions. By the Majesty of thy Lord! Were they in the time of Christ, they would turn their backs and would not behold His smiling, glorious face; but today they in the shallow waters of their superstitions without discretion.
[1 Christmas tree.]

Therefore, thank God for His having privileged thee to attain nearness to the Blessed Tree which is grown upon the highest Sinai and is set aglow with the fire of God's love, calling unto responsive listeners. I supplicate God to heal thee from all troubles and diseases and make thee a sign of guidance and a standard of the Supreme Concourse in those regions and particularly at Green Acre.

All through our past heritage the months of the years and the days of the week have borne the names of pagan feasts and Roman holidays.

The exchanging of gifts does not take away the religious significance of Christmas being religious in nature, however, the religious nature of Christmas has been censored out, so much that, when the religious nature is mentioned, too many reject it because it brings something too important to mind: The Reason Jesus had to be born anyways.

Jesus was born to DIE onthe Cross for our sins. The Birth of a Saviour is a condemnation against men, it makes men think of themselves being sinners, and to do away with the religious aspect, men do not have to be reminded of this.

That is why it is wrong to forget why Jesus had to be born. He was born because we are sinners in need of a Saviour. I am glad He came then, it was the gift of God, Salvation by Grace, through faith. It was the gift of God to send His Son, Jesus to sie for us.

That is why the exchanging of presents is acompatible with Christmas, we give gifts to our friends andfamily to say thanks to God for sending His Son as a gift to mankind.
