Just being curious. Its 2006 alright, but is a relationship always based on sex? Or is being a virgin a turn off or turn on? Shouldn't a guy respect you if you arn't ready for it...even though he has confessed that he loves you? Thanks.

Guys should respect you for wanting to wait. Yes they do think it's sexy hoping that they will be the one you choose when you are finally ready for "it" but guys are also guys, they want the sex. If a man truly loves you, he would not pressure you into "it". If it's really love I would think he would be proud of his girl not giving her virginity away to the first guy that asks.

If he doesn't respect you, he doesn't love you.

Even if he says he loves you, but if not respecting you, don't trust him blindly.

As far having sex, my personal opinion is that Sex Must not be a base for the relationship, it should be taken as a part of your love life.

Do it with the man whom you love truely by your heart, and who loves you truely by his heart.
Next up to you...... it's your life !

Yes but, if you let yourself into a situation where it would be easy to have sex, whom do you blame. It's easier for a girl to run with her skirts up, than a boy with his pants down. Get it.
If this can't be accomplished and the aspirin between the knees doesn't work then carry protection of some kind.

No. A relationship should NOT be based on sex. It actually is friendship in love! :o) And having sex is more of closure thing.

That is my opinion. :o)

Give in? Give up. It's not about giving in. It's right only when it's so bad for you that you can't hang on another minute without it and that doesn't happen till you're like 45, honey, trust me.

We teens totally get drived into having sex with our boyfriends, at such a young age..I suggest, as girls, we need to take things slow and wait till we get married. But even if you are gonna have sex, make sure your boyfriend uses a condom..Teehee..

Good Luck!
