She has an oblong face. Her goal should be to add some width, and shorten the over all look of her shape. She should look for a short to medium length hairstyle, nothing past her shoulders. Add some fullness around her cheekbones with angles or layers. Soft bangs, like a fringe or wisps, will help take away from the length of her face. She should also do a side part with her hair. She wants a style that keeps the hair close to the top of her head.
She wants to avoid long hair, center parts, blunt cuts, and styles that are puffy on top.

basically, she'd want a style that does not emphasize the length of her face; length should be no longer than just above the jawline...you are trying to draw the eye of the beholder up and away from the length...she should wear any style that has softness to it; again, to de-emphasize facial length...soft waves, soft curls, (not tight curls) etc...she should play up her eyes; again, drawing the eye up...if you tell me her skin tone I can recommend the colors she could wear for eye makeup;if she does not like eye makeup, she should at least wear mascara & a soft pencil liner...but feel free to email me with any further questions..I am a former makeup artist with many years experience..........good luck.hope to hear from you
