I am a young disabled female, and besides a number of other health problems I have always had a problem with upset stomachs. I've tried Immodium, but it makes me sick. It's always been bad, especially if I'm stressed, but lately I get terrible cramps and upset stomach within an hour or two every time I eat. It's got so bad I can't eat if I'm going out at all that day. I've had loads of tests in the past, and I don't want to go through all that again. I've been very stressed lately-is that causing it?Please, what should I do?

i think its the stress that is causing the cramps. you never said what kind of food you are consuming but i would sugest you to eat soups without a lot of spices. try to keep away from sauces and chillies. eat regularly. specially the breakfast. after waking up do light exercise. i also have a sensitive stomach and it helps me a lot.
after eating you can squeeze a lemon in a glass and add water and drink the mixture. it is very good for the stomach and digestion.
lastly dont get too much stressed. try to keep the stress level minimum by listening to music, going out or just chilling out. sleep regularly. good luck.

Your rite stress has a lot to do with it. if you can control the stress and try to eat light like soups and cut out the oily foods I get that way when my diet is mixed up and find myself having to run to the washroom a lot but if I'm care full with my diet, it helps. and watch the dairy sometimes that can upset the stomach. hope you feel better soon.

i dont really have a clue as im not a doctor, but i know stress wont be helping you one bit, and as for the tests if i were you as hard as it sounds i would go to your doctor again and see what they say, its better to get yourself checked out than just hiding it. as i said im not clued up on this whatsoever just thought id give you my opinion, hope this helps, good luck.

hi i'm sorry to hear about your situ. dont worry every thing is gng to be fine. you must be over stressed. dont try to think alot of all these things then only u feel unfit like this. i think u are worried about your disability. dont be .. cos i'm telling from my own expiriances. in my life i had a period like hell. it was hell. i fell and i had 3 fractures in my spinal cord including my neck. i couldnt move oar do anything. i was on a bed nearly for 2 years. mean time i had a eating problem.when ever i eat i thrw it out and had loose stomochs. just imagin the pain when throwing out with my spine and neck and suffered alot in scotig pan. i wore the neck guard as well. thank god for my lovely mum she always cleaned me.i was in admited in sevaral hospitals cos of this eating prob. i lived in saline cos i was liveless. no dr found the problem i had. and i had a boy friend cos of him only this acsident took place and he started cheating on me. i was broke at that time and was helpless. it was god who was with me only he knew my pain. things changed after a couple of years i did recovered and i fell in love again. now i'v realized y the eating problerms and loose stomachs took place in my life it was cos i was not happy within me. i cryied alot. i thoght that i'l get paralised and my whole future will be dark. i had to live in saline for weeks and months. all these happened cos i was mentally down with out help. i even didnt had these fasilitis that time to say like you did, no one to comfort. but thank god i'm alive to day. i'm typng this with tears on my eyes dont ever be discouraged and dont ever let others to let down you. dont underestimate your self. never to do it. be happy always. thank and prais god every minuit cos he has given you a life and ppl around you. stop stressing your self it'll do no good for your life. live a good life.
