This Sat night the cops followed me home and said that they had done a check on my car and said that it has no insurance, unfortunately this is true. They didn’t arrest me, but said that I would get a court summons in the post and probably a fine, the cope never gave me anything on the night, like a ticket or anything, was he supposed to?
Has this happened to you or anyone you know? Do you know what will happen to me as I am quite worried? I am female, 21yrs old, in the UK. What will they say in court and how long does it take to receive a court summons in the post? Please help.

Its tempting but dont do it. Hit another car and you are personally responsible for the damages.
Hit another person and you can add medical costs as well. Plus damages, loss of income etc.....it stacks up fast.
BTW Even if an accident is not your fault, its you that will have to pursue for damages.....its seriously expensive.
You will be fined. I dont know how much. Hate to say it but its probably the best thing that could have happened to you.
For god's sake dont drive without at least the minimum 3rd party insurance.
Cant afford to run a car?.....then you cant run a car.

no doubt you will hear from them and i am afraid you deserve it, if you had an accident and it was your fault the victim would be the one to suffer
