To safely lose weight in a healthy way requires BOTH a good healthy diet (doesn't mean eating all celery... you can eat almost anything providing you are active enough to use those calories) and exercise. Sure you could loose weight by diet, but that's not healthy. You'd have to eat foods low in calories and nutrients which would cause you to lose mental clarity and energy/stamina. Exercise without proper diet is also unhealthy. Your body needs proper nutrients for your metabolism to work properly.
Also, as a note from reading previous postings... trying to target weightloss by working certain parts of the body does NOT work.

The reason hes getting more weight, is because running a mile or maybe even more, for most of the week, gives you leg muscle, thus giving you more weight, because muscle weighs 3x's more than fat. Now, not excersizing and dieting right, you'll gain weight, but also more fat. Excercise. Its the best way to go, along with eating right.

It is not true, you can loose belly fat, it's just difficult to target. I lost belly fat by working out. My husband did weight training and a exercises. He did not loose the belly, but got a 6 pack on top of his beer gut. He has since began loosing the belly fat by doing cardio w/ weight training like I do. You have to shrink that cortisol, by burning fat and calories.

Yes Friend. You must have heard INPUT= OUTPUT (Theory in Physics) Input is taking in food and output means doing exercise to throw out the excess fat. But we eat more, we cannot do so much exercise to remove fat daily.. its a tough method. Easier method is to eat less food, fruit juices, green vegetables etc and do regular exercise (like dancing/ aorobics) good for heart and muscles.
Another tip just for you: One cup of warm water, 1 table spoon honey, half lemon: take this early morning everyday to reduce fat and drink lot of water through out the day
So choose the easy way.. bye

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

The best way I lost 14 inches in a month off my waste was to cleanse and exercise. When you detox you body it releases fat cells that cause belly fat and weigh gain.

combination of exercise and diet helps in losing all extra weight. It is the cardio workout that burns the calories creating a deficit. The washboard abs come from crunching...
