Me n my boyfriend did just that last week..
I'm sre i grew up thinking we'd be in a packed restaurant and he'd get down on one knee i'd know exactly what he was doing i'd well up say yes and everyone would clap... then i'd be embarressed but it didnt happen.

Actually, we have a much better method than you Americans. We don't have to hire 27 people to jump off a skyscraper and spell "will u mrry me" with their dead bodies or something like that. Usually in the bedroom, where we English are the least reserved, we simply discuss the possibility of marriage in a simple, romantic way, and decide that we love each other and it's financially feasible etc. Then we just get married, without half the pomp and circumstance that makes engaged couples go out of their minds with stress.

Hahaha my man asked me over the phone..i laughed at him and said are you being serious..i dont think so! Im now waiting for him to do it properly, which im sure he will try and make as romantic as he can, i dont even want to think about how he will do it! I think the british men are more romantic
