When one has lice, you would scratch uncontrollable and will get head sores, especially by the neck because that's where the louse breeds because it is hot and warm. If yo had to wash the hair and put the plug in the bath, then when you rinse your hair over the bath, if you look carefully you should be able to see them. Then if you take a old black top or something and you take a lice comb or fine plastic comb and you brush the hair from the neck out to the end of the hair strand, (just a piece of hair from the neck) and you gently wipe the comb or lice comb on the black item, OR Will be able to see the nits(lie eggs) and louse.

Hope you find the solution to your problem

get a monkey, if he starts picking on your head and eating what he finds, then you know you have lice. Not Really, look closely under the light as my buddies have written before me. But in addition to that you can buy some RIDXXX at your local pharmacy store, i.e., Walmart, Longs, KMart. Oh yeah - you really gotta wash everything your head has come into contact with because they lay eggs and spread quickly!!!
Good luck to ya!!!

under a lamp you can physically look through the hair at the base of the hair shafts....or you could go out and buy a lice comb and comb through the hair and if you get small round pieces coming up it means he/she has lice. those round pieces are the lice eggs that are laid on the shafts (near the base) of the hair. there are lots of over the counter products you can use for lice that are very effective. ask your pharmacist to help pick one thats best. if someone in your family has lice you have to treat everyone in the household plus you need to clean EVERYTHING that has come in contact or potentially in contact including hats, tshirts, pillows and pillow cases, couches, blankets...etc

check at the back of the head and around the ears, you would see what looks like dandruff but wont come off the hair if you shake the hair, that is what you call nits. you need to get treat asap for the so it wont spread to anyone else and clean the childs bedroom very good, bed sheets, comforters sweep the floor very well. also sweep your furniture off good.
