i used to have bearshare, then i used limewire, but got rid of them, and dont how i can get them back without having to pay for it, are there free ones out there still?

Go to http://www.limewire.com and download the 4.10.6 Basic version (It is Free!!)
I have it and i have not had no problems with it at all.

http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

try Torrents.......... you can register, about £20- but you can get all DVD's TV programs, music, software etc etc....
its well worth it, a good sight and NOT A SCAM, ive been with them a couple of years now, and have had £1000's of pounds worth from them, and still going strong.... ive even had to buy 2 extra, external memories to store things on.........
i'd STAY AWAY from limewire if i was you... the people recommending this sight, just haven't had there computers wrecked or ripped off....... YET....
MAYBE THATS WHY YOU SAY YOU DONT WANT TO GO BACK?
just take a look at "www.torrents.co.uk" its at least worth a look, and because you pay the £20- odd first..... its NOT illegal, Ive checked........ just call all your music / films etc "backups" not "copies"

If you download a program called, Ares, follow the instructions, then u can download, software, music, videos anything you need you can just downloaad it from there :D try n let me now

I would suggest Limewire, but it isn't always safe. There are always disadvantages of free music.

U can download music by bitorrent or other torrent client. u donload the torrent client form www.bittorrent.com and the visit websites like www.torretreactor.com or www.torrentspy.com for the torrents for the music u are looking for.
P.S. dont download kazaa it gives u loads of viruses.
