The 2 boys cross the river, one comes back and gets out of the boat. The man goes across the river and the other boy comes back. The two boys are back on the first side of the river, they both get into the boat and rejoin the man on the other side.

Easy! My theory is A to B.
First, the two boys cross the river with the canoe.
Drop boy2 at B, boy1 come back to A
The man cross the river safely to B, while boy1 stay at A.
Boy2 cross back to A.
Boy1 and Boy2 cross the river together safely!
