Issa comes from "iesous" the greek name of Jesus
this is how its mention in Quran
in the arabic bible Jesus translated to Yasou' that is the translating of the Hebrew name of Jesus "Yashou" (Joshua)

Salaam
it come from the root 'ASSA' (arabic) 'ESH'(hebrew) meaning star. This is in reference to the 'star of the messiah' and 'the star out of Jacob'.

'Issa or Eesa' has in no ways a link to 'Esau'.This is an erraneous mistake by some islamic scholars.

"Verily, I am a slave of Allaah. He has given me the scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I may be. And He has enjoined on me prayer and giving of charity for as long as i live. And (He has enjoined me) to be dutiful to my mother, and He has not made to be arrogant and wretched. And peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I shall die, and the day I will be raised alive."

I don't think it means "Jesus" if your are using the transliteration of the HEBREW word for "woman," which is "Isha"
