Oh no! Not you again!!!! First you wanted to know if Muslims would spitt on their god and now you want to know the meaning of this Arabic word. You really change you color like a chamaleon!!!!
Please, GET A LIFE. Why don't you just take my advise????
What's with you??? I just can't understand why some people won't let others and their cultures alone and mind their own business!!??!!
All right, I don't know the meaning of this word, but all I can tell you is that go get an Arabic dictionary from your nearest book store. Oh, and one more thing, here is a proverb which may enlighten you, " PEOPLE WHO ASK TOO MUCH ABOUT OTHER CULTURES OR WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THEM ARE THE ONES WHO DESTROY THE PEACE AND HARMONY BETWEEN THEM.
And PEOPLE WHO COMENT ON OTHERS FACES SHOULD GO LOOK THEIR OWN FACE IN A MIRROR.

Siraji...

It specifically means "my lantern", if you remove the 'i' in the end of the word, it means 'lantern'.

Does that help?

Peace.
