that might be a little true about American Christians. I heard a preacher say once that we have americanized the gospel. Meaning we twisted it (not that it was there to begin with). Israel is God's chosen people.

Well you'll find that the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad and the Arabs, so it's obviously going to speak to them at some level. But if you'll find much of it speaks to mankind as a whole.
But the Quran in no way descirbes the Arabs to be superior to other Muslims. If you look at the Prophet's (pbuh) last sermon you'll find:
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.

Absolutely false the Koran and Islam in fact preaches the opposite of all muslims being equal in the eyes of God. One special group are converts to Islam who benefit from the fact that they have chosen the religion rather than being born into it, but it is on a spiritual not a temporal basis that they are favoured. Once again and unfortunately in previous answers people are mixing nationality with religion. In all religions there are good and bad as in all nationalities. Good Saudis and bad, good Britons and bad etc. the same applies to religions good and bad Jews, good and bad Christians and good and bad Muslims.

In my experience all Muslims think they are superior. I have lived in several Islamic counties. Saudis think they are superior to all other Muslims.
