Could be that she doesn't know how to act with you in public or that she's uncomfortable with public displays of affection. Also, her friends could be putting pressure on her that she's spending too much time with you and she's trying to pay more attention to them than to you when she's with them to keeo them happy. Just suggestions, hope they help

Well, I guess a) some people are kind of private and don't like public displays of affection. b) it would most likely be that she doesn't know where this relationship is going at the moment - so it might be embarassing to have all her friends in on how exactly, she feels for you.
Maybe you guys could have a pleasant chat about things sometime.

The question should not be "Why does she behave differently around her friends?" but "Why should I care about it?".

Maybe she likes you as a person, but doesn't like the way you behave around her friends? Are you doing anything that would make her feel embarrassed to be with you?

Of course, I don't know you so all I can do is help you focus on the right questions.

Good Luck

when youre alone thats very private time, so she can act that way. But a lot of women don't like to act like that in public, shes probably just hanging out and having a good time. It means shes not going to be super clingy to you or desperate for attention. Its a good thing, just try to relax.

WOW, 22! I hope that at 45 I can still feel that teenage crush. Its great. She doesn't mean any good or bad. she just doesn't show a whole lot of affection in public. showing respect for herself, for you, keeping her private , private.

She's probably thinking about seeing where you guys go from here before she fesses to her friends.Maybe she feels its not their bussiness. You two are just a start & need time to adjust what you are both seeking in a relationship.Does that make sense?

Cool. that's why your girlfriend is trying to be. Looking like she doesn't care about anybody when other people are around. Saw teenagers at school doing that all the time at 14. She is insecure. And unreliable. I would give her a miss.

well.. you've heard the saying "bros' before hoes" right? well, sometimes the same applies for girls.

you should be out having fun and playing the field a little bit, relationships only complicate things.
