I have read a survey, can't remember where but I still remembered what it said that 1 bag of popcorn that you normally take to the movie, the calorie is equal to 6 Big Mac.

In regards to what "The Professor" said:
Adding protein would help not hurt. Most cheese has 3 times more calories from fat than protein so I wouldn't classify it as a "protein." And even if you didn't add any fat, our bodies are able to convert carbs to fats, so it all depends on how much popcorn you eat and how much other stuff you eat in addition to that.

like they all say... only if it has butter on it... but overall popcorn is less fattening than most snacks... unless you eat it 24/7 - then you will still end up growing in width.

The corn itself isn't too bad, it's the butter and/or toffee/syrup that gets added thats fattening

It can be, but if you air pop it and do not put any butter or any other topping or flavoring on it, it is a good source of fiber and is not a lot of calories.

Eaten by itself, No. It's mainly carbohydrates. If you add some protein (cheese topping) or fat (butter) that 'No' changes to a 'Yes'..
