I have a friend who is from Japan. We have tried to get into the Japanese Yahoo web site but cannot open it successfully. Can somebody please instruct me as to what I need to do to get it to work on my computer. I live in Australia. Have Windows XP and broadband connection. Advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you just can't see the Japanese writing, try clicking on the 'view' option for your browser, then text encoding, and hopefully you'll have various Japanese options to choose from.

Or are you just getting stuck by the warning page? Yahoo! Japan will display a warning - but only if you link to it from a different country's Yahoo! site - that the page can only be displayed if your computer is set to display Japanese characters ... or something like that! I don't get it appearing any more, probably because I'm always logged in to it! As I recall, you just clicked on the link to continue, and as your friend is Japanese he would understand anything that you didn't ...

Would this link be any use? http://www.yahoo.co.jp/

probable. the united kingdom is in Europe, so flights will require you to be able to talk in the language of the rustic you're going to, noticeably because you'll be in that usa to fly back to the united kingdom. properly, i do not understand the specifics yet you gained't actually have English speaking passengers. Going to and fro from France and the u . s . a ., each of the air hostesses were waiting to talk English and French from what i ought to work out/listen noticeably at the same time as they make bulletins. They stated a similar ingredient in both languages. In Paris, very nearly each human being who worked at Charles de Gaulle became waiting to talk English as well, inspite of if it wasn't their community language which i ought to tell.
