The 'ok' in Kcal stands for kilo, or 1000x. One Kcalorie=1000 ability. even with the reality that at the same time as people discuss nutrients they have an inclination to say (incorrectly) ability once they recommend Kcal. So somewhat, if all and dissimilar says that your dinner contains 600 ability it in reality incorporates 600000 ability. One calorie is the quantity of warmth required to boost 1ml (or extra wisely one gram) of water by a million degree Celcius. One Kcal is adequate heat to boost a litre (kilogram) of water by a million degree C. virtually the inspired nutrients intake for a lady is two million energy in line with day. (2000Kcal)

Yes! people don't understand that it all depends on how you SPELL calories. they do this by convention because its just easier to count by Kcal

Calorie (with a capital letter) = Kcalorie
but "calorie" does NOT equal kcal
1kcal = 1 Cal = 1000 calories

dont get confused with these while shopping, otherwise you might think 1 brand of cereal has 1000x more calories than the other brand!

A kcal is 1000 calories, but when we normally refer to calories we actually mean kcals, I believe.

I believe a calorie is the work required to heat 1 gram of water by 1 degree, so is a very small amount of energy.

A calory in physics is 1000th of a biological calory or kilo calory. When we say we get 5 calories from a cashew nut we mean we get 5 kilocalories .
