I would put this question somewhat like this: "Does tourists damage countryside"??
Then again answering myself, I would say YES in most of the cases depending on the cultures, country, local conditions and mainly population it is the tourisits who damage the countryside.
Acutually speaking, tourism brings in a lot of revenue, access facilities and local employment to the country side. But again, along with it comes the unwelcome 'damaging' and unconscious tourists more often than not!!
