It is not a question of whether yoga is is more useful or not. It will help hypertension, but be careful if you do not know the right techniques regarding yoga you can injure yourself very badly, however walking also helps as you will get a cardio workout and by doing a cardio workout you automatically relax your body and all stress Etc get relieved. If you intend doing yoga please make sure you get an instructor and ask him/her to assist you and listen to waht advice they give you regarding the right techniques. Running is also a good for hypertension as well as tae bo.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Yoga is surely better than walk, but you should learn it properly, otherwise it may end up in giving you more problems than your hypertension. First learn yoga well then you should continue doing it for healthy living.
