I signed up for one year. I didn't sign up for auto renew. I never have signed into any site with auto renew. So now I have a credit card bill for another year for Yahoo personals. How do I get that deleted from my credit card? I didn't authorize a second year.

You obviously did authorise it otherwise they wouldn't have been able to take the money.

Probably more a case of not actively saying no to renewal than saying yes to it

First I would contact the company that charged your card. If you get no where talking to them, call your credit card company and file a claim to dispute the charge. Make sure you have proof though that you did not miss any fine print that says you were supposed to cancel your subscription before it was auto renewed. I had that problem with a company and the red tape can get sticky trying to clean it up.

Good luck

call your credit card company and tell them what you just told us. they will open a dispute and contact yahoo to verify. if you did not sign up for auto renew then it should be credited. this is if you haven't already contacted yahoo and asked them for a refund.

give them a phone call and explain to them that you are not interseted and they would be more than pleasweed to reverse the charges. If you do not get a reply then ignore these charges and be sure that they cannot do anything, even in court of law!
