The bible is clear that there will be a end time persecution and martyrdom of all christians on earth at the last days before the two witnesses appear and challenge the world a last time, before Jesus returns. If we are all gone in a rapture then how can the bible say this? i beleive it is because the bible dosnt say anything about christians being resurected until after the 144,000 are sealed and the uncountable mass of beleivers crying out when will you avenge our blood lord? and he says shortly and gives them all white robes.

Oh I thank that's your best story. I just love the story of the rapture with all those little lights shooting up from the graves ping ping ping like shooting stars. Of course some of my ghost friends tell me they are just killing time talking to me while they wait for the rapture. I hate to disillusion them and tell them its only a fantasy and they may as well go back to their grave and accept their fate. Sometimes I just try to avoid telling them and they keep coming around me until I just have too. xx
Oh CEM you are so wise I wish some of my ghost friends would speak with you about this. xx

1) No rapture! Not a chance. Those who do believe in it are escapist. God is no escapists, and neither are His children.
2) There will be an end time persecution of Gods children, But they will not all die. The two witnesses are the New and Old Testaments, and that part of prophecy came true near the end of the 'dark ages'.
3) The 144,000 are a special group of Saints. They have been being made up ever since there was a Christian.
4) The seal of God can be found in Ex 20:11.
5) Just as the blood of Able 'cried out to the Lord' so does the blood of the uncountable numbers of martyrs from under the alter. The blood does not actually verbalize, it is another way of saying that God knows what happens too His own, and His desire for vengeance upon the wicked for the blood of His children.
6) The coming of Christ will be a very noisy affair.

The Bible is clear that there will be a "catching away" of the saints, AT HIS COMING, not 7 years, or 3 1/2 years before. I have been unable to find any scriptural basis for a "pre-trib" rapture.

Shepardp, gave you the scripture references for it. I will add one more In Matthew 24..Jesus is only Coming for those who are looking for His Return.

The persecutions are taking place all over the world and if you think the Christmas Tree and religious expression in the public debate is wrong or or going away, this my friend is the beginning of many sorrows to come on the earth. Daniel 11, tells you who these people are and gives the characteristics and nature of the evil one to come...(Hint: they are fighting in those areas as we write) Romans 8..know the times you are living in. Acts of terror all over the planet just as in the day of Noah, increases in violence and sharp advancements in technology. People rode in horses and buggies until 50 years or so ago. We are that generation! II Timothy 3, 2nd Peter 3, God is not forgetting...

The 144,000 are the Redeemed Jews that accept Christ, 12,000 out of each tribe and trust me they are not lost, God know who each and every last one is that is a real believer.

Rapture isn't even acknowledged within the bible as soon as. Its a person made concept for the reason that men and women lack the want to learn the bible. The tribs do subject, what you do ,whilst your out of the flesh ,you'll pay for.

I don't know it there is going to be a rapture or not. If there is, wonderful! Then we will miss a lot of pain and misery and be with the Lord! But I'm not going to be so stupid as to assume that it is guaranteed that there will be one.
My opinion is that I had better be prepared to go through the tribulation whether I have to or not. If I don't get ready for it and I have to endure it, then I will be spending more time cursing God than in speaking of His greatness and love.

The Bible is clear that the Elect will be brought before the Satan throne, but they will not be killed. Only two, the two wittiness will be murdered and left to rot in the street.

No where in the Bible does it mention a rapture. It does however mention that God is displeased with people who teach His children to fly to save their souls.

I can see that you have some Bible knowledge, but you lack wisdom of the Word. Pray that God will send His Holy Spirit to open your mind and eyes and ears so as to have the hidden manna.><>

I personally think the idea of a rapture is unbiblical. Jesus clearly says that the wheat and tares shall be allowed to grow together after which all will be harvested.

So the second coming will be a judgement of all humanity together.

The notion is silly. The bible has far too many errors to be taken seriously.
