It is difficult to change the colour of your teeth without aritificial aids like teeth whiteners, but you can obviously avoid staining them further by brushing your teeth regularly especially after drinking tea, coffee, smoking etc.

Sometimes it is not so much the 'whiteness' of teeth that is attractive but the brightess, or contrast with the rest of you.

A good brushing technique, with decent brush and toothpaste will also polish your teeth so they are more reflective.

An illusion of brighter teeth can be created by using various colours lipstick - blue reds, plums etc tend to make the teeth appear whiter. It is the same with your gums, if they are a good colour and contrast to your teeth, the teeth look whiter. So remember to brush your gums as well, helps to get the blood flow going through them.

I don't know what colour skin you have, but a tanned skin also has the remarkable effect of making your teeth looking bettter.

Also, there's an old saying that you shouldn't wear pearls that are whiter than your teeth - modernised, don't wear any jewellery, or any clothes that are 'whiter' than your teeth. Just makes the teeth look duller.

Good luck!

you have to stay healthy , drink lots of water, get enough calcium and brush your teeth after meals and coffee / tea, i'm sure that's not what you asked for but it's the basic to keep teeth white.
natural teeth whiteners:baking soda or tree bark like siwak Salvadora persica (toothbrush tree), bark of walnut tree , the inside of orange peel , strawberries, or coall( a definite no). many things have been used but not necessarily safe.
i think it's better to go to a dentist or use tooth whiteners like crest whitestrips.
you can always chew gum that says on it that it whitens teeth or even better go see a dentist the expert in teeth :)

Believe it or not rubbing fresh strawberries on your teeth will help whiten them. I don't know if it is permanent because I didn't do it long enough but it did whiten them when I was doing it. Don't know why it works either but it does.

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be taken.

Baking soda and peroxide-the combination actually strengthens your teeth as well as whitens. (Why do you think all those tooth-pastes contain it?) I find it does the job quite well-anything else hurts my teeth/gums. It is also my understanding the harsh over-the-counter products actually weaken your teeth. Something to remember....

Avoid food that stains teeth in the first place. Apples are good for a healthy smile and try toothpaste with a whitner in it.
Hope it helps good luck :)
