W - Wide (more details in the same picture)
T - Telephoto. (less detail but you get close to the subject)

It refers to the angle of the lens. Wide angle captures more. Narrow angle gets up close, captures less.

I would assume it stands for Wide and Tight. But thats just a guess. Ask your local photo shop or one hour photo developing place (RiteAid or CVS, etc.)
