i need to build the tail end of a wwII plane ,messershmitt(sp)any way. do i buy a model and scale it up or is there a company that sells full scale plans of non functional planes/air craft

it depends on the engine. you're engine better put out enough torque to spin the prop you need. more than likely, if you're building full scale, and you already have the engine, then you should just match the original prop diameter. the engine manufacturer should provide you with aceptable prop diameter and pitch ranges.

I'd bet that you can find plans. But, if it's just for a prop you'd probably do better just scaling the model.

Go to a hobby store and look around. Also look in the back of modelling magazines.
