I would say more because I think Star Trek is such an amazing concept, such an innovative show that it shows the work of inspiration in its creators and that kind of inspiration comes through people from a higher power. I think Gene Rodenberry was a visionary and that his vision was very spiritual in essence though it was ostensibly just a sci fi drama.

I would say more, but I mostly watched the original "Star Trek" series way back when. As a Mormon I already believe God has other children and creations in other parts of the universe. One of the episodes that has made me think more deeply about spiritual gifts over the years was 'The Empath' and how the gift of healing isn't always easy to develop or use.

Iam a Buddhist, so the question isn't exactly fair. But Star Trek to me is one of the best representations around of what has been called, "technological utopianism". I believe that this is the de facto religion of western society. It is the application of technique to solve all the problems of mankind. It is dangerous because of the necessity of humans having to endlessly adapt themselves to the techniques and its systems; instead of the other way around.

I am a huge Star Trek nerd.
I have seen every single episode of DS9 & Voyager, and and currently on Season 5 of TNG. I feel that Star Trek has no baring on my religious views, as I am already a person of faith.

nothing sways me . in this world. I have established a relationship with God thru the Spirit of God.the Spirit of God guides me.if you have the Spirit with you this world is nothing compared to it.your to be in the world but not to be of this world.you must except the Spirit into you and ask of it, and listen to the answers that come in a very quiet voice within you. if you will but listen , and then do Gods will in your life, this is much more exciting and satisfying that star trek which I love to watch

no, darling, the point of star trek, like gilligan's island, is more about the human dynamic--the setting is secondary to the people working together as a team

WHAT
It's fiction so has no bearing on the real world, then again that's just the same as god isn't it.
