I am a Catholic who will marry a woman who is not catholic. We could either marry in the church or outside. I would like to baptise our children and raise them as catholic. If we do not have a full Catholic Mass and sacriment, can we still baptise our children?

Yes, you can still baptize your children.

When your children are baptized, you, your wife, and the godparents promise to raise the children as Catholics. Please take this promise seriously and set a good example for your children.

With love in Christ.

In England, the baby can also be baptised in the C of E parish church the place the household resides. The minister would count on the mum and dad to attend the church before, to exhibit that they have a non secular purpose for trying the baptism. There is not any statute law that says a vicar or rector HAS to baptise kids within the parish if requested, unlike marriages and deaths where everybody resident in a parish has the proper to be married or buried at church.

yes!!! As long as you are married by a Catholic priest you are married in the eyes of the Church and in the eyes of God. You do not have to have a Mass at the wedding as long as it is a priest who performs the ceremony. Marriage is a sacrament and sacraments are celebrated by priests. And then, when the time comes you can have your children baptized in the church by a priest.

God bless,
